The Tokina Pearlescent is a diffusion filter designed to effect halation and resolution with a strong bloom to highlights. This filter gives your scene a dream-like look with depth that cannot be achieved in post-production.
Pearlescent is made of fine particulate with an appearance that has a sparkling quality to it. The light refracting facets of the particulate create a look that is compelling and commands attention.
Available in strengths of 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, and 1. The most popular strength choices are 1/4 and 1/2 for dramatic effect.
