Schneider-Kreuznach RHOdium® FSND Graduated (Horizontal) filters answer the cinematographer’s call for a truly neutral ND that attenuates light evenly from the near ultra-violet (important for a film) through the full visible spectrum and into the near infra-red. Balance the overall exposure of the scene to gain details in both bright and dark areas, e.g.: open sky and shadowed foreground. Choose Hard Edge for long focal length lenses and Soft Edge for short and mid-range ones. Schneider-Kreuznach has engineered an extremely thin neutral density interlayer laminated between two sheets of crystal-clear water-white glass. Additionally, the coating is kept safe from abrasions by being encapsulated within the glass, rather than on the surface. These are stackable.
